Deacon & Deaconess Roger & Mattie Baulckim
Deacon Roger Baulckim has been a member of Washington Street since March 28, 1999. Since arriving at Washington Street, he has immersed himself in the ministries serving as a Finance Officer, Assistant Sunday School Director, and a Sunday School Teacher for older teens. Deacon Baulckim enjoys serving and carrying out his deacon responsibilities. He is married to the former Mattie Morris. They bring to this marriage 6 children.

Deacon Robert Coleman
Deacon Coleman accepted Christ in 1948 and has been a member of Washington Street since that time. His service at Washington Street is vast and varied from a Sunday School Teacher, Official Board Chairman, and the first New Members Orientation Instructor. His service as a deacon has been for over 25 years. He and his wife Connie have been married for over 35 years. They have one grown son, one grandchild, and many young people whom they have been Mom and Dad to.

Deacon & Deaconess Eddie & Deborah Edmonds
Deacon Edmonds was ordained into the deacon ministry in 1999. He is an avid student of the bible, applying it to his daily life. Deacon Edmonds loves God, His people, and the ministry. He serves as Official Board Secretary, and a Sunday School Teacher for the older teens. His wife Deborah is a co-leader for the younger teen girls in Sunday School and also serves in other ministries in the church. He is married to the former Deborah Alston. They are proud parents of 2 grown sons and two grandchildren.

Deacon & Deaconess Richard & LaShunda Jones
Deacon Richard Jones was born on July 30, 1972 and was born again on October 29, 1995. Since that time, Richard has dealt with some major obstacles in his life, but has come out victoriously. He has allowed God to give him an awesome testimony. Richard and his wife, LaShunda are involved in ministry together. They are instructors for "True Love Waits," High School Sunday School class, and Youth Directors. LaShunda is also a member of the United Voices Choir. Washington Street praises God for this young couple's willingness to learn and do for the kingdom.

Deacon & Deaconess Douglas &Teresa McClure
Deacon Douglas McClure was born on December 25, 1962 and was born again in 1975. He has been a member of Washington Street since February of 1985. For the past 23 years, Brother Douglas has served in several capacities, giving his best in every endeavor. God has blessed Doug with an awesome music ministry talent.He currently serves as Minister of Music. He and his wife Teresa serve in ministry together. Sister McClure is an usher, Sunday School teacher, and Director of the young ladies teen usher board. Doug and Teresa are growing spiritually and constantly seeking God's face for His will for their life and family. They have one son.

Deacon Chris Phillips
Deacon Chris Phillips was ordained as a deacon in 1999. His priorities are God, family, and the body of Christ. Deacon Phillips’ love for the Lord is seen in his passion and focus on ministering to the holistic needs of people. He is a member of the United Voices and the Official Board. Brother Chris also serves as a Co-teacher for teen boys in True Love Waits.

Deacon & Deaconess Charles & Mary Anna Thomas
Deacon Thomas has been married to his wife Mary Anna for over 43 years. They are the proud parents of four grown children. He has been a deacon since 2000. He continues to work hard whenever needed and is already serving in several ministry capacities at the Washington Street Church. He understands that he is a servant and serving is his number one priority along with working to keep peace in the body of Christ. Mary Anna serves as Church Clerk, Co-Teacher of one of our adult Sunday School classes and is a member of the United Voices choir.
